Physical Requirements

Passengers must be fit enough to climb in and out of the high wicker baskets.
Must be able to stand for at least 1 hour and bend knees to a deep squatting stance for landings.

All rates are per person. Children aged 4 to 12 are charged half price on cheetah tours and must be accompanied by a guardian.
A minimum of 4 pax is required to pre-book a tour. Tours are limited and should be booked in advance.
All tours depart from the Solitaire Activity Centre. Guests overnighting at Solitaire Mountain Lodge are collected and brought to the Activity Centre for sundowner tours.
Guided sundowner fat-bike combos are available, including a cheetah-camp visit before the ride, with bikes trailered back after sundowners.
Cheetah feeding viewings depend strictly on availability and cannot be pre-booked — enquire closer to the day or on arrival.
Night game drives are available on request and subject to availability.

Rates shown are the full per-person totals and already include the permit levy and fuel levy. All excursion fees include 15% VAT; levies are VAT exempt.
All tours include fresh oysters, snacks, sparkling wine, light drinks, cold drinks, bottled water and permits.
Transfers and pick-ups are not included — N$200 per person including VAT, non-commissionable.
A concession fee of N$195 per person applies from 1 April 2026 following the Ministry’s 25-year access concession for Sandwich Harbour; this is already built into the 2026 figures above.
Tour guides can travel at a reduced charge if space is available or translation is needed.
Due to weather and tides it is not always possible to reach the Sandwich Harbour lagoon by vehicle along the beach; the tour then drives to the dune top overlooking the harbour. Please advise clients accordingly.

Private excursions and exclusive window seats are available on request. No tour is private unless specifically requested and quoted.
